CONCEPT

The time of information technologies, computer graphics and conceptual art, where the viewer can only guess what the artist wanted to depict, has formed a stable stereotype that figurative painting is not relevant. An art event, installation, or performance is certainly better liked. But, in the artist’s opinion, in the race for likes and views, many fell into the trap of the moment, what young people call “HYIP”.

At art school, Victoria realized that painting would be the main business of her life, and at the age of 15, she left home to enter the Saratov art school. During study and formation – V. Serov, M. Vrubel, N. Feshin were the inspiration for Victoria.

One of the main Viktoria’s rules of life is “if you allow yourself to think that something is too difficult, then fear will settle in you and this will become impossible for you”. Victoria has always been engaged in difficult tasks that give her an opportunity to grow.

Victoria doesn’t like to come up with new styles and fashion names, she likes the expression of Claude Debussy “I’m trying to find new realities… fools call it impressionism. ”  More simply, either you manage to create life on canvas, or you don’t and no beautiful and clever phrases will not save your job…

The artist’s works are a personal attempt to fight the fleeing time. “When I make a sketch, I make the moment freeze on it.”
